Now you just need to find Breaker Thram again (which can be tricky, because there is nothing on the map indicating where she or any of the specialization instructors are). Head up to the Skyhold battlements and make your way to the tower at the south-east corner of the fortress. For Dragon Age: Inquisition on the Xbox One, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Can I change my specialization?". Well, I've found out how to ADD additional specializations to all three Inquisitor classes, after taking an initial one. The short-hand explanation involves adding the first class spec, saving, swapping two boolean values around TRUE to FALSE, saving to a new save file, then adding another specialization in-game from that new save; rinse and repeat for each additional specialization desired. Yes, you can switch from archery to dual wield if you desire it. I think that you can actually equip either weapons if want, but they'll be weak if you don't have any points in their respective categories. It'll be just as good as if you picked that weapon specialization in the beginning.
These 3 mods allow you to play any combo of skills, utilities and items you ever wished to. Want to play a Greatsword wielding Rift Mage archer? Sure. Undead Summoning Shield and Dagger Tempest? Sure. Staff wielding spell slinging tank? Sure. Stealth using Templar Knight Enchanter with Sword and Dagger? Sure.
PSN:Urabraska. DarkLeemer 9 years ago #5. I would say Archer. It's what u have been using and it's pretty good. You get some crazy damage numbers in there and can kill a lot before it even reaches you. Plus if you get bored, you can respec and switch up to Daggers for a while and then respec back to arrows. Playing as your companions is the best way to decide. Given how little of a story impact specializations have, it's dumb they don't let you change it. Its pretty funny, because the reason they said you couldnt be a blood mage this time around was that your specialization would have impact on the story. You can't do the stun explosion because they can't be stunned but the 15% damage buff(30% if you have two) the 10% resist to everyone(20% if you have two) and the ability to heal everyone and increase their damage by 50% if you die are invaluable. Specialization: Knight-Enchanters are a special kind of mage given dispensation from the Chantry to allow them to serve in battle. These mages can summon blades from the Fade and they excel at defensive spells. Quest: Commander Helaine requests that you craft a hilt that is capable of holding a spirit blade, as well as requests that you study Rift mage controls the battle field by knocking people down and moving them around. Necromancer panics and takes control of enemies and weird stuff. The thing with DAI is that the companions and the inquisitor have the same powers. So you can play as Dorian, Solas and Vivienne and see which style you like. Overall each specialization now has a focus that makes them unique. The Rift Mage's specialty is spell spammage, which with the right setup can mean anything from massive DPS to crowd control to support specialist. The problem is that thanks to the cap on the number of abilities you can use in combat you can really only maximize one role at a time. Dragon Age: Inquisition. Dual Wielding Question. Please Help. SammyBusby 8 years ago #1. I just started the game and I am about 45 minutes into it. I initially picked a Sword and Shield Character but now that Ive came across two good single handed weapons I would like to dual wield them but I cant get one of the weapons to equip into the off
2 Answers. You need to be level 10, get to a certain point in the main story and then perform a specific quest to be able to gain a specialization like Knight Enchanter, Rift Mage or Necromancer. Your current level is too low, and you might not have progressed far enough in the main story.
Can you change specializations? ksaf 9 years ago #1 I'm about to unlock specializations. Can I change them or I'm locked? Thanks Quickfire88 9 years ago #2 Once you finish the quest So I'm around level 14 in Dragon Age Inquisition and I'm a mage, I haven't decided on a specialization yet (I like Necro but I've heard while it's fun, it doesn't deal a lot of damage, the best would be Knight Enchanter I think but I'm not sure). So far my team consisted of people that I like instead of people that I should include in my build. At first I hated it. It's not the easiest specialization. Hated it so much I stopped and leveled up an assassin. But as I played assassin, I missed the battlefield awareness I needed as a Necro. You can easily get overwhelmed as a Necro, and what you pair with your specialization seems to matter more as a necro.

I usually donโ€™t enjoy the mage type class, but in all the Dragon Age games I find the mage class is the best option. My second favorite is the sword and board warrior. #3. Mardoin69 Mar 2 @ 1:29pm.
In Dragon Age: Inquisition, there are three possible specializations for warriors: Champion, Reaver, and Templar. Champions specialize at protecting their teammates and absorbing large amounts of damage. Reavers will be similar to Dragon Age 1 and 2 โ€“ warriors that are adept at dealing large amounts of damage through hurting themselves.
