The gear sets, ruins and weapons are meaningless because they barely change your damage or resistances at all. I did some testing and also found that that each mastery point only adds .1 percent to the stats it claims to buff. Try it next time and then look at your stats page before and after.
There's Helix points you can collect in the game, but that's a one-time deal. When I first collected the first set, there was a note saying it would regen in 24 hours, but none of them have. anyway I would have assumed helix credits, would be a universal AC paid currency, but I noticed that my origins helix credit didn't transfer to Odyssey. but im still unsure if Odyssey helix credits from stream, or PC, will work on ps4 or xbox and vise versa.

In Origins, I was given more Helix credits with the release of the season pass content, so maybe they'll do the same here? i dont think so, 500 helix credits were a listed feature of origins season pass which is not the case for odyssey.
